Greentech Invest UK (7) Ltd has submitted a Proposal of Application Notice to Aberdeenshire Council (ENQ/2024/1328) for a 35MW solar farm together with a Battery Energy Storage System with Capacity of up to 14.9MW and Associated Infrastructure at Brownside Farm near the B9121 at Mountblairy, Alvah and will be carrying out a public consultation event on:

⦁ 16 October 2024, at Forglen Hall, from 12.30pm to 7.00pm.

where you can ask questions of the design team and provide feedback to them.

All information provided at the events will also be available online at: www.brownsidesolar.co.uk, along with details of how to submit comments and feedback online if you wish.

All comments must be made by 30th October. Following closure of the period for comments a summary of the feedback from the consultation event and how the applicant has responded will be available on the above website for a minimum of two weeks.

Please note that any comments made at this time are not representations to Aberdeenshire Council and would not be considered as part of a future planning application. When the planning application is submitted there will be an opportunity to make representations at that time on the application to Aberdeenshire Council.
